Onze drie kunstenaars nemen je mee via deze wandelkaart mee op een avontuurlijke route door een gedeelte van het Limburgse Savelsbos waar natuur, kunst en lokale geschiedenis samenvloeien. Onderweg nodigen ze je uit stil te staan bij thema’s als spiritualiteit, verbondenheid, macht, recht-vaardigheid en de herwaardering van vrouwelijke kracht. De route opent tegelijk een nieuwe dialoog over historische misstanden – met foto’s, kunst en natuur als gids en verteller.
HOE HET WERKT
Door het scannen van QR-codes op de kaart kun je tijdens de wandeling, op je telefoon foto’s, kunstwerken en verhalen te voorschijn toveren geïnspireerd op hekserij, natuurgeloof en volksverhalen. Ook delen de natuurgidsen van Grueles (Heemkundevereniging Gronsveld) en Vereniging tot Natuurbehoud (VTN) Cadier en Keer interessante natuurweetjes met je en trakteert de Historische Kring Cadier en Keer je op regionale verhalen over hekserij.

ABOUT THE HIKING ROUTE
Our three artists will take you on an adventurous route via this walking map through a section of the Limburg Savelsbos where nature, art and local history merge. Along the way, they invite you to reflect on themes such as spirituality, connection, power, justice, and the revaluation of feminine power. The route also opens a new dialogue about historical wrongs – with photos, art, and nature as guides and narrators.
HOW IT WORKS
By scanning QR codes on the map, you can access photos, artwork, and stories inspired by witchcraft, nature beliefs, and folktales, on your phone during the walk . The nature guides from Grueles (Gronsveld Local History Society) and the Cadier en Keer Nature Conservation Association (VTN) will also share interesting nature facts, and the Cadier en Keer Historical Society will treat you to regional stories about witchcraft.
